This may not be a great movie, but it is an inspiring story. Joy may not mop up at the box office, but when it comes to acting, it's a clean sweep. This optimistic, often amusing story is a Lawrence show all the way as she flies the flag for feminism, entrepreneurship and family without missing a beat.

A well-constructed B-movie thriller, Joy Ride keeps up the necessary level of tension and chills. Critics also liked Zahn's performance as the goofball older brother.

This a a sweet and simple story of redemption. A little bit a of tearjerker. But one of those movies that is good entertainment and makes you feel good. I recommend it.
