Cork B 11 is not as good as the pre-cancellation series. It looks the same, and feels the same, but lacks a lot of the energy, zaniness and humor. The topical stuff is dumb - why would NFTs be relevant in 1000 years??? They were trying a bit too hard to be current they forgot the series was set in the future. OTOH, good to see the gang is back, and they did have some concept shows like the simulation one. Hopefully they don't fall off a cliff like Simpsons or Rick and Morty. However, this new season is a delightful blend of the same lovable gang as before, infused with new, timely themes that I can easily relate to.Admittedly, the self-critique and "we got canceled and revived" jokes were laid on a bit thick in the beginning, but by episode three, the writers found their rhythm. In just ten episodes, they managed to hit all the right notes: clever parody, heartfelt moments, humor that is absurd yet somehow grounded, and, of course, the subtle nerdy jokes that YouTubers will likely be analyzing for the next decade.In my opinion, anyone who didn't enjoy this season may not be a genuine Futurama fan or might be setting impossibly high standards.
