epiCenter @ VBC
Are you a student in 6th - 12th grade? Then you've come to the right place! The epiCenter offers you a place to connect with others, grow and deepen your relationship with Christ and have FUN. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Youth Pastor Joel Pyron at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at the church at 805-644-7191.
It is our mission at epiCenter to help youth navigate their lives for the glory of God! At VBC and in epiCenter we accomplish this by following our compass and the four navigational points: connect, converse, construct and contact. Below you will find more on these differnt navigational points.
Oportunities to converse:
refuel @ epiCenter
Wednesdays 6:30 PM - 8 PM (With Pastor Joel Pyron and our adult volunteer team.)
Our HS and MS students are challenged, to be spiritually REFUELED each Wednesday. Our goal is to create in them a wonder for God that leads our youth to discover and experience him through their refuel small groups.
Before refuel begins the students and their families can relax and hang at THE epiCenter. Within epiCenter we have our converse cafe, which has a coffee shop feel. We also offer a family style meal each week (Street Tacos, Sliders, Pizza, etc.). epiCenter also offers an open game room area complete with pool table, x-box, ps2, air hockey and table tennis.
During refuel we have our youth led worship band - Shockwave, followed by a short Bible study by Pastor Joel and concluded with the refuel small groups.
Students end the evening hanging out in the epiCenter or heading to the multi-purpose center (that’s code for “gym”!) socializing and playing various large group games.
epiCenter is open from 4:00-9:00 PM every Wednesday for Students to Hang, do their homework and enjoy our refuel expression. (Click for more about refuel)
encounter @ epiCenter
